Cindy Sydnor
Cindy started riding at twelve and feels that she has ridden almost every
day since. She has been very fortunate to work with a few outstanding
trainers, including Mr. H.L.M. van Schaik, formerly of Vermont; Mr. Egon
von Neindorff of Karlsruhe, Germany; Karl Mikolka, formerly of the Spanish
Riding School; Colonel Bengt Ljungquist, former coach for the USET Dressage
Team; and Mr. Walter Zettl of Ontario, Canada, and formerly of Germany.
After seven years in Europe and Brazil, Cindy returned to the U.S. in
1972 and was long-listed for t he 1976 U.S. Olympic Team and stayed on
the USET “long list” for several years. She has competed nationally
at all levels and continues to do so.
She is an “R” dressage
judge and an examiner for the
USDF Instructor Certification Program. For

Classical and Kind
Cindy's
specialty is Small Tour training of horse and rider. She has trained
nine
horses from the start to Intermediaire and three to the Grand Prix. She
currently trains horses and riders at all levels from her home in Snow
Camp, North Carolina. Cindy is married to Charles Sydnor, and they have
